March Capital Lands New Fundraising Head from PineBridge

Santa Monica, CA-based venture growth firm March Capital has announced the appointment of Oliver Marques as partner, leading the firm’s capital formation team.

Marques brings over 10 years of experience in investment management and fundraising, joining from PineBridge Investments in the UK where he most recently served as head of intermediary and institutional distribution representing public and private funds across the EMEA market. In his new position at March Capital, he will work directly with managing partners to strengthen the firm’s relationship with institutional investors, including sovereign wealth funds, RIAs, endowments, and single and multifamily offices.

The move comes as March Capital co-founder and managing partner Jamie Montgomery said the firm anticipates “immense opportunity for a resurgence in capital raising and investment.” The venture firm, which focuses on investments in the cloud software, cybersecurity, and cloud/data infrastructure sectors, currently manages $1.65B in total AUM from its four funds.
