At Dakota, we’re committed to giving back to the communities we belong to.

With two offices and over ninety committed, passionate team members, we’ve made it our mission to partner with micro charities and organizations that match our values.

Dakota Gives is not just a financial commitment. Our goal is to offer additional support through digital marketing and video support so our partners can reach an even wider audience.

Our Community Partners

In June of 2017 Raegan and Payton Garnsey founded the nonprofit Buckets of Love Foundation. They fill buckets with toys, games, crafts, stuffed animals and whatever else is appropriate for kids ages 2-12. These buckets of love are then donated to hospitals, homeless shelters, and to children in foster care. Their mission over the past years has been to put a smile on a deserving child’s face. To date, they have filled over 10,000 Buckets of Love and have had at least one bucket donated in every single state.

Mighty Writers teaches over 3,700 students in the Hispanic community to write with clarity so they can achieve success. They also distribute food, education supplies and other essential resources. Dakota sponsors their Spring children’s party and volunteers with the daily food distribution.

Cradles to Crayons works to fill the critical need of clothing, shoes and boots, diapers and baby clothes and backpacks of school supplies. In Philadelphia 300,000 children are at the poverty level or below and need these critical supplies. Cradles to Crayons works with Social Service Agencies that identify these families that need their help. We support their backpack, a thon that provides these children with necessary school supplies, clothing and everything they need to be successful at school.

ACHIEVEability provides housing and supportive services for low-income, single-parent families to help those parents break the generational cycle of poverty. Dakota provided Thanksgiving meals and 90 children with holiday gifts.
