At Dakota, we’re committed to giving back to the communities we belong to. As part of our Dakota Gives initiative, we launched the Career Exploration Days to inspire the next generation.
These days are designed to empower young individuals to explore diverse career paths, engage with professionals, and gain practical tools for future success. Through hands-on workshops, networking, and professional guidance, we aim to make a meaningful impact in the community we proudly serve.
Participants will gain exposure to a wide range of career options, learning about the qualifications, skills, and pathways required for various professions.
Our LinkedIn and resume-building workshop will help attendees create a strong online presence. The day also includes professional headshots and resources to support their future career journeys.
Engage in dynamic discussions, team-building activities, and one-on-one connections with Dakota professionals, fostering collaboration and career exploration.

Dakota Studios hosted our group of 9th and 10th grade students from Revolution School for a Career Exploration Day, where we learned about marketing, interviewing, teamwork, organizational skills, networking, bias in the workplace and more. I personally found Dakota’s material relevant to our students’ age group and useful for Revolution’s Future Ready classes. The students themselves said that they felt so welcome at the Dakota, the presentations were engaging, and the content was helpful as they start to think about networking and job interviews.
