Harbor Capital Advisors appointed Saumen Chattopadhyay to the newly created position of head of portfolio solutions, marking a return for the executive to the firm where he began his career.
The asset manager said the new role will support its vision of integrating alternative investments into its customized models and identifying opportunities for OCIO services.
Before the appointment, Chattopadhyay managed a $115B investment platform as chief investment officer at OneDigital Investment Advisors. He has also served as CIO of Carson Group and began his investment career at Harbor Capital, which he first left in 2010 after nearly a decade.
