Weld County Names Innovest as New General Consultant

The Weld County Retirement Plan is swapping CapTrust for Innovest as its new general consultant in a final selection process during the pension’s September 10, 2024, board meeting.

The Colorado pension’s board unanimously voted to hire Innovest following finalist presentations and discussions on pricing and firm value. CapTrust, then the pension’s consultant, and Callan were also considered for the role.

As of the latest Dakota data, Weld County manages total plan assets valued at approximately $472M.
