Medford CRS Initiates $10M US Small Cap Value Search

The Medford Contributory Retirement System (CRS) has launched a search for US small cap value equity managers for an allocation of approximately $10M.

The pension said it prefers strategies with live 10-year track records and that the proposing firm’s assets under management in small cap equity should be at least $750M, unless the board determines otherwise. Core and growth strategies will not be considered.

Medford CRS will accept proposals until February 12 at 5 pm Eastern Time. NEPC is assisting in the manager search for the Massachusetts-based pension, which currently oversees $260M in total plan assets.
