TDK’s VC Unit Names Leadership for New India Hub

TDK Ventures announced the establishment of its India innovation hub in Bengaluru and recruited Ravi Jain and Vasan Churchill as the heads of its investment team there.

Jain and Vasan will oversee strategies to provide Indian entrepreneurs an opportunity to develop and introduce their tech abroad through TDK’s experience in scaling global deep-tech startups.

Prior to joining TDK, Jain co-founded GenY Labs and GenY Medium and worked as the head of strategy at OLA Electric. He also served as vice president at Krutrim. Churchill co-founded robotic manufacturing company Adaxis and forged his experience in deep-tech working as a senior scientist at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden and as a research scientist at GE Global Research.
