Bain Capital is said to have promoted a London-based partner to co-head its European private equity business, according to a Bloomberg report citing an internal memo.
Ivano Sessa has been with Bain Capital for over two decades, and will work alongside Stuart Gent in his new role. Following his promotion, the firm is also moving Michael Siefke up the ranks as chair of Europe private equity to oversee the firm’s expansion in Germany and provide support in its global industrials.
Bain Capital is based in Boston with more than 20 locations across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific. It currently houses six European offices: in Dublin, Lisbon (PRT), London, Luxembourg, Madrid, and Munich.
