New York State Retirement Commits to Private Equity, Emerging Manager Programs; Terminates Equity Fund Manager

The New York State Common Retirement Fund (CRF) has released their November 2023 monthly transaction report, disclosing investments four total commitments, as well as the termination of Equity Fund Manager.

In private equity, $75 million was allocated to ICV Partners V. ICV has an existing relationship with the CRF.

Three commitments were made to the CRF’s Emerging Manager Program. $10 million was allocated to Mandrake Capital Real Estate Fund II, $10 million was allocated to Grandview Joint Venture III, and $25.5 million was allocated to Clearhaven Partners Fund II.

New York State CRF also announced the termination of equity fund Lisanti Capital Growth. At the time of termination, the Lisanti account had a value of $210 million. The termination occurred on November 29, 2023.
