NY Common Commits $2B to Alts & Emerging Manager Program

The New York State Common Retirement Fund has approved nine commitments to alternatives, including two commitments to their emerging manager program totaling $2.07 billion, according to a May report.

In real estate, €320 million (approximately $350M) was committed to Ares European Property Enhancement Fund IV and €100 million (approximately $109M) to Ares European Property Enhancement Fund IV Co-Investment.

Within private infrastructure, €300 million (approximately $327M) each was allocated to both Copenhagen Infrastructure V and Copenhagen Infrastructure Co-Investment. And $300 million to Stonepeak Infrastructure Fund V. 

In private credit, $400 million was allocated to Empire Credit Co-Investment Fund LLC. And in private equity, $225 million was committed to  ICONIQ Strategic Partners VII.

Additionally, two commitments were made to the Emerging Manager Program. $15 million was allocated to Excolere Equity Partners Fund I and $15.7 million to Invictus Growth Fund II.
