NEPC Names New Head of DC Vendor Management

NEPC has announced that it has appointed a veteran consultant to lead its defined contribution (DC) vendor management search practice. 

Michael Contorno joins NEPC following a 16-year tenure at Vanguard, where he most recently served as senior director for consultant relations. Prior to that, he held other consulting and managerial roles at Marsh & McLennan, Aon, and Black Mountain management. In his new role, Contorno will report to partner and DC team leader Bill Ryan to strengthen support for DC clients. 

To date, NEPC said it advises more than 400 retainer clients representing $1.7T in total serviced assets.
