Barings Names Head of Global Consultant Relations

Barings announced that Nicholas Mavro has joined the firm as managing director and head of global consultant relations, effective immediately.

In the new role, Mavro will oversee the development of a global strategy to grow Barings’ relationships with its investment consultants to drive business development. Mavro will be based in Boston and lead the firm’s global team of consultant relations professionals, reporting to Graham Seagraves, head of North American institutional and consultant relations.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Mavro has nearly 25 years of industry experience, most recently as head of US institutional at Pictet Asset Management. Before that he spent over seven years at Fiera Capital, most recently as global head of consultant relations, and began his career at State Street Global Advisors.
