Chicago FABF Selects Mesirow for SMID Value Search

The Chicago Firemen’s Annuity and Benefit Fund has hired Mesirow for the SMID Cap Value search.

Mesirow will be awarded with an allocation of up to $30 million, according to meeting minutes from the April board meeting.

Four other finalists were considered for the search which included Earnest Partners, LSV Asset Management, Sapiece, and Ariel Investments.
