Wealth Enhancement announced that it has acquired VanceGray Wealth Management, a Maine-based RIA managing $409M in client assets, marking the firm’s entry into the state.
Founded in 2006 by veteran advisor Vance Gray, VanceGray Wealth is headquartered in Ellsworth, ME, with an additional office in Bangor. The RIA works with retirees, senior citizens, individuals, and small business owners, providing investment and asset management, tax strategies, and estate planning services. Jim Cahn, chief strategy officer at Wealth Enhancement, said in a statement that the deal marks a new milestone for the firm as it aims to strengthen its presence in the Northeast.
The acquisition of VanceGray closed on December 31, 2024, and marks the 22nd transaction closed by Wealth Enhancement in 2024. It closely follows the purchase of Lake Oswego, OR-based Northwest Investment Counselors, which manages $673M in client assets, as reported by Dakota on January 14.
