Uzzi & Lall Recruits Citadel Vets to Lead Operations, Europe

Independent boutique financial advisory firm Uzzi & Lall has recruited two former Citadel managing directors as partners, with Colin Adams taking on the post of COO and Chris Boas appointed as head of Europe.

Adams joins Uzzi & Lall from boutique advisor Ducera Partners, where he was a senior managing director specializing in distressed advisory. He began his career at Kirkland & Ellis, where he rose to partner, before joining Citadel as a managing director and then moving on to establish a special situations direct investment business at Morgan Stanley.

Boas brings nearly 30 years of advisory experience advising independent family offices in special situations, credit, real estate, and commodity investing. Before joining Uzzi & Lall he was a partner and global head of credit at Citadel, where he was heavily involved in the firm’s international credit strategies.

Uzzi & Lall also reported recruiting Jonathan Wang as a senior director, bringing experience in senior interim management roles, where he was charged with stabilizing operations and leading business turnarounds. Wang most recently served as a director at Huron and held senior positions at Loughlin Management Partners prior to that.
