Summit Partners Makes $9.5B Close on Latest US Growth Equity Fund

Summit Partners has made a final close at $9.5B in capital raised on its latest flagship US growth equity fund, Summit Partners Growth Equity Fund XII (Summit XII).

In a press release, Summit said it launched the fund in April, holding its closing after approximately five months in the market. As with prior funds, Summit will be the single largest investor in Summit XII.

Summit XII will target majority and minority investments of $75M to $500M, “primarily in profitable, category-leading growth companies.” With the latest fundraise, Summit Partners said it is now managing more than $46B in assets across its fund complex.
