Berkshire Partners Lands New IR Head from Cinven

Boston-based investment firm Berkshire Partners has added Jonas Nilsson as its new managing director to lead investor relations for both the firm’s public and private equity businesses.

Nilsson joins as head of investor relations from Cinven, where he served as partner for 14 years, having established the European private equity firm’s New York office while also leading its US operations. He also holds experience in investment initiatives and structured financing for clients, especially in the technology and financial services sector, as well as leading a team in M&A execution for financial sponsors, across firms such as Triton Partners, Morgan Stanley, and Viacom.

Nilsson’s addition follows the December 2024 promotion of Liz Bride, part of the firm’s investor relations team primarily focused on its Stockbridge public equity group and involved in its most recent capital raise for flagship Fund XI, which closed in October with $7.8B in capital commitments.
