RIA investor Summit Financial said November 25 that it has acquired minority, noncontrolling interests in three financial advisory firms – Southeast Financial Group, Radiance Private Wealth, and Silvertree Retirement Planning – managing a combined $420M in client assets.
Southeast Financial is based in Raleigh, NC, and led by founder and President Ed Secrest. It was affiliated with LPL Financial from 2009 to 2019, according to Secrest’s Brokercheck profile.
Radiance serves high-net-worth clients in Connecticut and New Jersey and is led by founding partners and advisors Gautam Chhada and Randi Engelbrecht. Silvertree provides private wealth management services to the manufacturing industry in Wisconsin and is led by CEO Jason Gilsczynski, who was affiliated with Brookstone Capital Management from 2008 to 2024.
Summit Financial most recently acquired minority stakes in advisors in Oklahoma and Pennsylvania managing $470M in client assets, as reported by Dakota on September 27.
