Rockefeller Asset Management announced the kick off of its first closed-end unlisted interval fund in a bid to expand its offerings into municipal bonds investments.
Rockefeller Municipal Opportunities Fund (RKMIX) will seek to provide investors exposure to high-yield and high-grade municipal bonds under a quarterly liquid interval fund. Director of Fixed Income Alex Petrone said the fund’s structure, particularly its quarterly redemption feature, will allow the RKMIX investment team to “lean more effectively into both complexity and liquidity premiums across the municipal market” while “aiming to capitalize on market dislocations.”
Portfolio managers for the fund include Scott Cottier, Mark DeMitry, and Michael Camarella, who joined the firm from Invesco in June.
