Diamond Hill Unveils Securitized Credit Fund

Diamond Hill announced that it has launched a securitized credit fund to invest in more illiquid and lower credit quality bonds.

Diamond Hill Securitized Credit Fund is structured as an interval fund offering quarterly redemptions and will be managed by portfolio manager Henry Song. CEO Heather Brilliant said the fund will “add to the team's ability to deliver portfolios with the differentiated risk/return profile” sought by clients, through the fixed income team’s experience in securitized assets.

As of November 30, the Columbus, OH-based firm said its fixed income team oversees $5.9B in assets across its core bond, core plus bond, intermediate bond, short duration investment grade, short duration securitized bond, and securitized credit portfolios. Diamond Hill has $33.5B in total combined assets under management and advisement.
