PIMCO has secured $502M in capital commitments for its PIMCO EMD Alpha Fund, the California fixed income giant disclosed in a filing with the SEC.
The Allianz-owned manager said its first sale took place on November 25 and it received commitments from two investors. The latest fundraise adds to the $28B PIMCO manages in its Absolute Return Alpha Strategies and $189B total in alternative strategies, including alternative credit and private markets.
PIMCO oversees $2.1T of total assets, including $1.62T in third-party client assets as of September 30.
