Blackstone is marketing its third Asia buyout fund, seeking to match the $11B it raised in 2022 for its previous Asia buyouts fund and targeting a first close in January, Bloomberg reported October 3, citing people familiar with the matter.
The firm declined to comment to Bloomberg, which noted that prior comments from private equity leaders at the firm have touted India, Japan, Australia, and Southeast Asia as attractive markets in which Blackstone has been seeking more opportunities
