Gaming and Digital Entertainment VC Transcend to Launch Third Seed Fund

Transcend Fund filed for its third flagship fund that will target opportunities in the gaming and digital entertainment space.

Transcend Fund III will mark the early-stage venture capital firm's third seed fund. In a January 13 filing with the SEC, the firm indicated that the planned sale of its third flagship fund is not expected to last more than a year.

The fund will follow Transcend II, which closed in 2023 with capital commitments totaling $60M. The sophomore fund generated support from existing and new investors, including companies, family offices, and executives in the gaming and finance sectors.

Transcend Fund's portfolio includes Stress Level Zero, Ruckus Games, Methodical Games, Maestro, Roboto Games, Kratos, Heroic Story and Spatial.
