Merit Financial Merges in $603M AUM Trinity Financial

Merit Financial Advisors said that it has merged with Berwyn, PA-based female-owned Trinity Financial, marking the firm’s third office in the state and adding $603M in client assets.

This transaction with Trinity is the 29th partnership made by the Georgia-based RIA since receiving minority investment from Aspire Holdings and Wealth Partners in 2020. Merit has two prior acquisitions this year, adding Illinois-based Kizer & Associates and Washington-based Viren & Associates, as reported by Dakota. The two firms brought a collective $700M in assets.

The Trinity deal closed on December 6 and with it Trinity President Robyn E. Jameson joined Merit as managing director and partner. Financial and legal details of the transaction were not disclosed.
