Cleveland-based MAI Capital Management is further expanding its Ohio network with the acquisition of Bolan Capital Management (BCM) with $238M in managed client assets, according to a September 30 press release.
BCM originally specialized in healthcare and education services within Cincinnati before widening its client scope across industries and sectors across the tri-state area up to Nashville, TN. The boutique wealth management firm was founded in 2009 by Senior Wealth Advisor Brian Bolan, who is joined by portfolio manager Steve Matthews.
According to MAI Capital, BCM is its seventh acquisition of the year and its fourth Cincinnati office since acquiring Madison Wealth Management in January.
