The London LGPS CIV has named a new veteran CIO from Tesco Pension Investments who will assume the role in early March.
Jenny Buck will join the London pension’s executive team with over 30 years of experience in investment management, including developing and implementing UK gilt strategies and overseeing the transition of the Tesco Defined Benefit Pension Scheme. Prior to Tesco, she was with Schroders for a decade, most recently as head of global property fund of funds. Buck will take over from Rob Treich, who is serving as interim CIO for the pension.
Buck’s installment comes six months after former CIO Aioffinn Devitt, who was appointed in January last year as reported by Dakota, reportedly stepped down from the position in July 2024. London CIV manages a total portfolio of approximately $63.5B in plan assets.
