Homrich Berg Closes on $6.4B WMS Partners Acquisition

HB Wealth Management, a fee-only wealth advisory firm headquartered in Atlanta, announced that it has closed its acquisition of Towson, MD-based RIA WMS Partners, adding $6.4B in assets under management.

This is the first deal for the firm since recruiting former Ancora Holdings Group director Andrew Page as its M&A head in April 2024. WMS Partners, which has operated as a multifamily office since its establishment in 1993, will operate as part of HB Family Office following completion of the deal. The WMS team will continue to operate out of its existing office.

The acquisition enhances the family office services provided by HB and bolsters the firm’s presence in the Mid-Atlantic region. Following completion of the deal, Homrich Berg said it will manage $24B in client assets out of 10 offices across five states.
