Former Centerbridge Partners senior managing director Billy Rahm formally announced the launch of a new private investment firm, Everview Partners, that will specialize in real asset investing.
Rahm will lead Everview as its CEO and founder, and will be joined on the board of directors by former Meta CFO Marne Levine and former Honeywell CFO Richard Wallman. The firm’s investment team includes David S. Cohen, formerly of Brookfield Asset Management; Komal Sankla, formerly of Blackstone; Austin Zurlo, formerly of Starwood Capital Group; and Gregory Ressa, formerly of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett.
In addition, Everview has assembled an institutional business team composed of Jeff Gelfand, Meghan Olson, Heather Petersen, and Samantha Levien – all formerly with Centerbridge – as well as former Davidson Kempner Principal and Legal Counsel Melanie Posner. The new firm said it is building out an advisory council, an operating resources group, and portfolio company leadership teams.
"Real assets will continue to feel the impact of a changing cost of capital, technological and demographic trends, policy changes and geopolitics," Rahm said in a statement announcing the firm’s launch. "Our real estate, private equity and credit experience combined with functional and operational expertise positions Everview to navigate this transforming market.”
