Sustainable infrastructure funding, deployment, and maintenance firm Sustainability Partners announced that its board has named John Veech, a former Morgan Stanley and Marathon Partners executive, as the new CEO of its operating unit, SP Services, effective December 1.
SP Chairman Tom Cain said the company will be looking to tap into Veech’s experience on Wall Street with investing, managing, and financing infrastructure assets across the renewable energy, power, midstream, transportation, communications, and utilities sectors. "With the billions needed for core infrastructure projects, I am confident that John's extensive experience in global infrastructure capital markets makes him the ideal choice for this pivotal role,” Cain said in a news release announcing Veech’s appointment.
Veech, a current member of the company’s board of trustees, most recently served as a managing director and CIO at Marathon Capital Partners. Before that, he was managing director and head of the Americas for Morgan Stanley’s diversified infrastructure investing platform for over a decade. He held a similar role with Lehman Brothers for over 10 years prior to moving to Morgan Stanley.
