Focus Financial’s Transform Wealth to Acquire $175M Denver RIA

Focus Financial Partners’ Transform Wealth announced that it is set to acquire Denver-based independent RIA Custom Portfolio Group (CPG) in a September 26 press release. 

The two firms have entered into a definitive agreement and are expected to close the acquisition in the fourth quarter. The three-person CPG team is led by President and CEO David Twibell and manages over $175M in client assets across 454 accounts, per its most recent Form ADV filing from March. Turkey Hill Management advised CPG in the transaction.

According to Dakota data, Greenwood Village, CO-based based Transform Wealth oversees approximately $2.5B in managed assets and has previously acquired a number of other advisory firms, including Strategic Capital Advisors, Weatherstone Capital Management, and First Houston Capital.
