Fidelity Investments has hit its $250M fundraising target on Fidelity Venture Capital Fund I LP, the company said in an October 2 press release.
The fund, which closed on September 30, was launched to support a portfolio of high-potential mid- to late-stage private companies, with $31M in initial investments already made to 10 companies in aerospace, defense, artificial intelligence, data and e-commerce.
The investment firm said it made more than 600 investments across 300 private companies, with 50 alts funds amounting to $27.8B in AUM.
