The New York State Common Retirement Fund (CRF) disclosed closing a total of $1.5B across 10 funds in December of last year.
According to its recently published monthly transaction report, the pension made commitments to private equity with $200M to Summit Partners Co-Invest, $125M to Blackstone COF IV Co-Investment Fund, and $15M to AUA Private Equity Partners Fund III. In private credit, New York CRF committed $100M to Pearl Diver Nautilus Series 2024, as well as $50M to o15 Emerging America Credit Opportunities Fund and another $25M to its SMA.
In real estate, the pension said it invested $400M in IPI Partners III and another $100M in its co-investment feature, while in venture and absolute return, the CRF committed $300M to B Capital’s Global Growth IV and an additional $200M to its co-investment fund.
As of the latest Dakota data, New York CRF administers a total portfolio of approximately $267.7B in pension assets.
