Institutional investment platform Evergreen Residential Holdings announced that it raised approximately $1B in capital commitments and received a strategic investment of undisclosed size from Kuvare Holdings.
The investment from Kuvera follows on from a previous strategic investment by an affiliate of Prosperity Asset Management, and Evergreen said the investments will help it scale its equity, lending, and property management strategies.
“In our view, the US residential asset class is highly fragmented and primed for further institutionalization,” driven by a shortage in available housing units, Evergreen founder and CEO Joseph Negri said in a press release announcing the news.
