The Church Pension Group (CPG) has appointed Julian Chung as its new chief legal officer and corporate secretary, according to an October 28 press release.
Chung is a former general counsel and head of compliance at Enveritas and a former partner at Fried Frank, Harris, Shriver, and Jacobson. She is set to take over the role as former Chief Legal Officer Nancy Sanborn retires at the end of the year.
As the new chief legal officer, Chung is expected to develop legal strategy, manage legal risk, and report directly to CPG CEO and President Mary Kate Wold. CPG manages approximately $17.B in assets, according to Dakota data, and supports the pension and benefit needs of those serving the Episcopal Church.
