Allworth Financial has acquired Vancouver, WA-based City Fiduciary Group, which manages $839M in client assets and employs 31 investment professionals.
City Fiduciary also operates an office in Portland, OR, and its addition further strengthens Allworth’s growing presence in the Pacific Northwest. It is the seventh acquisition of the year for Sacramento, CA-based Allworth, which most recently acquired $1.1B firm George McKelvey Company, an RIA based in New Jersey catering to high-net-worth clients.
Allworth is backed by private equity firm Lightyear Capital and the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board, which acquired a stake in the wealth manager from earlier private equity investor Pantheon Capital in 2020.
