There were also a few moves spanning multiple regions, including a $1.8B pickup by Cresset of a former Goldman Sachs team that will be based in Atlanta and Jackson Hole, WY.

Raymond James was again the month’s leading recruiter by number of moves, adding 16 teams with a combined $2.9B in reported client assets. &Partners also had a busy month, picking up seven teams and $3.8B in assets, with the bulk of the new recruits coming from Wells Fargo.

Of note, HB Wealth made the biggest move, adding former JPMorgan advisors Matthew Moore, Andrea Smith, Rebecca Warner, and Jared Green – along with their $15B in client assets.

Outside of advisor moves, November’s standout people news included HB Wealth appointing Gina Martin Adams as chief market strategist, Joel Houck as CIO, and Ford Donohue as deputy CIO; BNY hiring former Rockefeller executive Brian Riley as global head of BNY Wealth; and Aprio Wealth Management, the advisory arm of accounting and consulting firm Aprio, appointing Eric Flynn as its Chief Wealth Officer, a newly created role.
