Washington State Commits $300M to Private Equity

The Washington State Investment Board (WSIB) has made a $300 million commitment to Trident X US Fund, L.P.

The fund is a buyout fund that focuses on the financial services industry. The fund will be managed by Stone Point Capital LLC.

WSIB has previously invested in Trident fund’s VII, VIII, and IX.

Albourne assisted with the investment.

As of December 31, 2023, the Fund had a market value of $197.2 billion with an allocation of 29.1% to private equity.
