Texas TRS Commits $101M to Alternatives

The Teacher Retirement System of Texas has disclosed two alternative commitments totaling $101.5 million.

$50 million was committed to opportunistic real estate fund, Almanac Investment Manager Solutions. Almanac Realty Investors was previously acquired by Neuberger Berman in 2020.

The Retirement System also shared a $51.5 million investment in private equity fund, Fox Co-Investment Partners A. The co-investment fund is managed by Clearlake Capital Group.
