Wealth advisory Snowden Lane Partners said it has appointed Senior Partner and Managing Director Armando Ureña to its operating committee with the aim of increasing communication with and enabling the participation of advisors in the management of the firm.
Ureña formerly served as managing director at Wells Fargo for 14 years and before that worked as a financial advisor for Lehman Brothers for five years. In the new role, he will work with the committee across the firm’s operations, finance, legal and compliance, human resources, investment solutions, enterprise solutions, and technology teams.
Snowden Lane said that since September 2023 it has recruited 13 financial advisors with a collective $1.8B in client assets, as well as added offices in Boca Raton, FL, Golden, CO, and Philadelphia. The hybrid RIA has been majority owned by Estancia Capital Partners since 2013, with Estancia rumored throughout 2024 to be shopping for a potential buyer.
