Savant Wealth Buys $536M HNW Divorcée Advisor Source Financial

Savant Wealth Management announced the acquisition of the $536M New York-based boutique RIA Source Financial Advisors in a deal that closed on December 9.

Source Financial is a woman-owned firm that primarily serves high-net-worth female clients who are divorced or navigating through one. The team is led by Michelle Smith, who will be joining Savant as managing director.

The deal with Source Financial is Savant’s fourth acquisition in 2024 and marks the firm’s entry in the New York State market. As previously reported by Dakota, its most recent acquisition came in November with the addition of $239M Louisville, KY-based RIA Sortino Advisory.
