Sao Paulo VC Alexia Plans $100M Raise for Second Fund

Brazilian firm Alexia Venture Capital has launched its second fund, with a goal of raising $100M to back startups in both its home country and broader Latin America.

In a regulatory filing with the SEC, Alexia said it does not expect to be in the market for more than a year. Predecessor Alexia Ventures 1 launched in May 2020 and closed in January 2022 after raising $79M from 183 investors. 

Alexia Ventures focuses on leading series-A fundraisings for software platforms, software-as-a-service, data and intelligence, as well as Blockchain and cryptocurrency startups.
