Sanctuary Secures $700M Miami Team from Truist

Sanctuary Wealth announced that fellow Miami advisory Hillguard Wealth Management has joined as a partner firm, moving from Truist Wealth where they managed $700M in client assets.

Hillguard is led by Marcelo Zaffaroni and Juan Martin Campuzano, supported by wealth associate Ivan Flores. Zaffaroni and Campuzano bring over 40 years of combined experience, with Zaffaroni beginning his career at Wachovia Wells Fargo before moving on to HSBC and later SunTrust/Truist. Campuzano began his career as an advisor at MetLife before moving on to SunTrust and Truist.

Hillguard provides advisory services to approximately 20 US and international ultra-high-net-worth families and will operate out of Sanctuary's Miami office located on Brickell Avenue. Sanctuary Wealth launched its Sanctuary Global network platform in 2021 with the recruitment of Florida- and Texas-based teams from Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo.
