The San Mateo County Employees’ Retirement Association (SamCERA) said it made a $40M investment in 400 Capital Asset Based Term Fund IV.
The California-based pension approved the allocation during its January 28 board meeting, to be included in its opportunistic credit portfolio within the growth category. The commitment represents SamCERA’s first investment for the year.
As of the latest Dakota data, San Mateo County oversees approximately $6.1B in total pension assets.
