The San Francisco Employees Retirement System (ERS) allocated a total of $344.4M across six funds in private credit, real estate, and venture capital, according to materials from its February 12 board meeting.
The pension approved four recent investments in private credit, comprised of an $85M commitment to OrbiMed Royalty & Credit Opportunities V, $75M to Presidio Loan Fund, $50M to New Mountain Net Lease Trust, and $60M to Ares SFERS Credit Strategies Fund. The ERS also allocated $50M to Sculptor Real Estate Fund V, as well as $24.4M to early-stage venture fund Trinity Ventures 2024. The deals were closed between December 2024 and late January of this year.
San Francisco ERS said that as of January 31, it allocated 27.3% to private equity, 13.9% to real assets, and 8.7% to private credit out of a total portfolio valued at approximately $36.7B.
