Sacramento County Commits $30M to J.F. Lehman Buyout Fund

The Sacramento County Employees’ Retirement System (SCERS) approved a commitment of $30M to JFL Equity Investors VI, a middle-market buyout strategy, according to materials published for its October 16th board meeting. 

The commitment to J.F. Lehman and Co. represents a new relationship for SCERS. 

Per Dakota data, the Sacramento County pension oversees $13.3B in assets. As of June 30, it allocated 13.1% of its portfolio to private equity.
