Abu Dhabi-based independent private capital firm Ruya Partners is expecting to close its $250M private credit fund by year-end, according to a recent report by VC Circle, citing partner Omar Al Yawer.
The fund is seeking credit opportunities, particularly for small and medium enterprises within the Gulf region. The fund is looking to finalize at least two more deals before its final close, anticipated for the end of December.
To date, companies in the firm’s portfolio are Hollywood and Arabic media subscription platform Starzplay, Saudi Arabia temporary power solutions provider Energia, and UAE fitness chain GymNation.
