Report: RayJay Adds $1.8B Merrill, Wells Fargo Teams in Ohio

Raymond James added to its advisory presence in Ohio with the addition of two teams that previously managed over $1.8B of combined client assets, AdvisorHub reported November 13, citing a source familiar with the moves.

The unnamed source said one of the new teams, which will be based in Beachwood, OH, was Merrill Lynch’s only private wealth team in Northeast Ohio and managed $995M of assets. Citing registration records, the report claimed the team formally joined Raymond James on November 7.

Meanwhile, the other team from Wells Fargo managed $825M in client assets. The source said the team joined Raymond James on October 29, working out of Perrysburg, OH.
