Navis Capital Partners secured commitments totaling $135M at the first close of its maiden Asia-focused private credit fund, Bloomberg reported December 5, citing a letter to investors.
The Malaysia-based private equity firm said Navis Asia Credit Fund attracted pledges from existing investors in its other funds and new limited partners from the US, Europe and Asia. Navis Asia Credit Fund will target private credit in Southeast Asia and has already locked in on its first two investments, which Navis described as "bilaterally sourced."
