Report: Morgan Stanley Recruits $1.5B FL Team from Merrill Private Wealth

Morgan Stanley recruited a Boca Raton, FL-based team from Merrill Private Wealth managing approximately $1.5B in client assets, who operated as MM & Associates Group at Merrill, according to a November 6 report from AdvisorHub.

MM & Associates was established by veteran advisors Michael Halperin, Michael Passeroff, and Matthew Liebman. At Morgan Stanley it will operate under branch manager Karla Espegard Ransdell.

Prior to their move, Halperin, Passeroff, and Liebman served as managing directors at Merrill Lynch with almost 50 years of collective experience in financial advisory and wealth management.
