Report: Morgan Stanley Adds $1.4B Michigan Team from Merrill Lynch

Morgan Stanley has recruited a Bloomfield Hills, MI-based financial advisory team from Merrill Lynch, adding $1.4B in client assets, according to media reports.

The team is led by Jeffrey Gembis and composed of Henry Gembis, Joseph D. Carter, and support staffers Michelle E. Bisio, Christina R. Gaitley and Leslie D. Robison. Gembis and his team will report to Executive Director Mark J. Feiler.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, the team reportedly generated approximately $7M in annual fees and commissions.
